Abstract

Praise be to God، Lord of the Worlds، and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions altogether. As for what follows:

It is from God’s mercy to His servants that He has prepared for this nation eminent scholars who have spent their lives in the service of religion، learning and teaching. Among them was Imam Abu Ishaq al-Shirazi، may God Almighty have mercy on him، one of the great jurists of the Shafi’i school. Different jurisprudence، and many of them are in the explanation، commentary and exploration، and this research may specialize in the issues of fasting، so I liked that the topic of my research be entitled “The Jurisprudential Choices of Imam Abu Ishaq Al-Shirazi، may God Almighty have mercy on him، through his polite book in the book of fasting، a comparative jurisprudential study.”
