Matching Rhyme With Poetic Purposes In Hamid Mizal Al-Rawi's Poetry

Abstract

The research deals with the relationship of proportionality between rhyme and poetic purposes. We shed light on the texts of our poet Hamid Al-Rawi, as we found there is a clear and explicit proportionality in the poet’s texts. We try to reveal this relationship; As he uses a thousand absolutes in rhymes with poetic purposes from which complaint and pain appear, he also uses broken rhyme in cases of lament and refraction. We find the poet also try to emphasize the main title of the poem and include it or some of it in his poetic texts.
