THE NEW APPROACH TO INHER-ITANCE SCIENCE IN THE SHAFI'I SCHOOL AS AN EXAMPLE" (PART III: CORRECTING MATHEMATI-CAL ISSUES)
Abstract
All praise is due to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and his companions. Correcting mathematical issues is a subject that is not without its challenges. The complexity of inheritance science, with its numerous details, coupled with the traditional method used to correct its problems, adds to the difficulty. This does not diminish the tremendous effort exerted by scholars in overcoming the challenges of this field and solving its dilemmas. However, the traditional approach does not rely on a set law; instead, it involves studying each case individually, leading to an increase in the number and complexity of cases. Despite the effort, the solutions are not devoid of difficulty and the possibility of error. This is mainly due to the fact that mathematics had not matured sufficiently during that era. The aim of this research is to establish a consistent and simplified method for correcting mathematical issues in inheritance science. The goal is to streamline the steps, making them applicable to solve any problem, no matter how challenging. By the grace of Allah, I discovered that the common denominator between the essence of the issue and the correction of mathematical problems is the same, known today as the Least Common Multiple. This method can be applied to correct mathematical problems by analyzing the prime factors. This research is the third part of a series on inheritance science, aiming to renew and simplify the methods of solving inheritance problems. I hope to have succeeded in this endeavor.
