ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THE HADITH "I WAS SENT WITH CONCISE SPEECHES" - NARRATION AND INSIGHT

Abstract

This research delves into the numerous variations in the narrations of the Hadith "I was sent with concise speeches" concerning both the chain of narration (sanad) and the text (matn). It focuses on the differences among scholars in interpreting the term "concise speeches," with some suggesting it refers to the Holy Quran and others asserting it relates to the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The study elucidates the concept of the Hadith and its connection to the meanings and nuances deposited in the Holy Quran and the noble Prophetic traditions. Furthermore, it emphasizes that the best speech is that which is brief and meaningful, highlighting the importance of the content and benefit of speech rather than its length and verbosity.
