The Jurisprudential Issues that have Two Opin-ions According to the Shafi’i in the Book “Al-Bayan” by Al-Omrani (d. 558 AH) concerning the (fidya) for committing prohibitions during Ihram: A Comparative Study
Abstract
This research aims to collect the jurisprudential issues that have two opinions among Shafi’i scholars in the book “Al-Bayan” by Imam Al-Omrani (may Allah have mercy on him) concerning the (fidya) for committing prohibitions during Ihram. It conducts a comparative study among the eight jurisprudential schools: Hanafi, Shafi’i, Hanbali, Maliki, Zahiri, Imami, Zaydi, and Ibadi, presenting their views and evidence. Following this, the research identifies the most valid opinion. The importance of this topic lies in highlighting the rich jurisprudential heritage of the Islamic schools of thought. The research is divided into an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter provides a biography of Imam Al-Omrani (may Allah have mercy on him), while the second chapter addresses the jurisprudential issues with two opinions. The conclusion summarizes the research findings.
