THE CREATIVITY OF THE HADITH SCHOLARS IN CREATING SCIENTIFIC INTRODUCTIONS: THE INTRODUCTION TO SAHIH MUSLIM AS A MODEL

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The title of this research is: (The Creativity of the Hadith Scholars in Creating Scientific Introductions: The Introduction to Sahih Muslim as a Model). This research addresses an important aspect of the creativity of Hadith scholars in authorship and methodological thinking, in which they were pioneers. I have chosen one of the most important books of Hadith, Sahih Muslim, due to its significant scholarly status and its influential role in the foundations of Hadith scholarship, which established the methodological thought among Muslim scholars. The importance of this topic lies in highlighting the distinctiveness of Hadith scholars in the methodology of scientific research in writing "introductions" and their methodological perspective in scientific research methods. It attempts to refute the idea that the West was ahead in methodological studies over Muslims, an idea perpetuated by Orientalists in modern times. The research plan, following the preface and introduction, is divided into two chapters containing seven sections, followed by the conclusion which includes the main findings and recommendations.
