Abstract

This research focuses on examining the texts of the Prophetic Hadith through a modern approach based on pragmatic theories. These theories delve deeply into semantic and linguistic studies while highlighting the importance of the Hadith as the second source of Islamic legislation. The study analyzes Hadith texts by applying all aspects of pragmatics, including intentionality, performativity, informativity, and speech segments. These aspects play a significant role in contemporary studies and allow for their application to a variety of Islamic texts.
