Abstract

Summary: Imam Ibn Hibban (died: 354 AH) is considered one of the imams of hadith sciences - narration and knowledge, and he is like other imams of al-jarh and ta’deel. Imam Ibn Hibban in a number of narrators, and since knowing the meanings of the imams is one of the words that they use in the narrators, is one of the most important and most closely related studies (Sahib Hadith) sciences in Jarh and Tadheel, I have written a paper in which I explained the purpose of Ibn Hibban in using this word in the narrator. Is it modification? Or for dissection? Or is it not? He gave it to eleven narrators in his book Al-Thiqat, and it came out with a summary showing the narrator's condition in terms of modification or injury.
