Abstract

The research stopped on the provisions of Islamic jurisprudence in the ruling on a woman’s performance of the call to prayer، holding  prayer، the sermon in Friday prayer and others، and the research can be summarized as follows:

- The call to prayer is a slogan and a notification that the time for prayer has occurred، and Islamic law frees the woman from the task of implementing this slogan in order to preserve her from raising her voice in what is not necessary.

- As for the ruling on women’s ears in the presence of women، the jurists in this regard went to two different directions according to the different concepts of each direction، based on the presumptive inference derived from the legal texts.

- There is another issue related to whether or not to repeat the call to prayer in the event that a woman does so، and there is no clear evidence for this issue، so the issue took the direction of jurisprudence in which the exchange of opinion took place in interpretation and analysis.

- Although the sayings of the jurists included exempting women from the task of performing prayer for men، this exemption was followed by allowing them to perform prayer in the women’s prayer hall as a form of delegation، whether their prayers were in congregation or individually.
